Requirements for patent / utility model application in Turkey

Depending on the type of application in Turkey, the documents, which should be supplied, are listed below:

Filing a national patent / utility model application in Turkey:

Power of Attorney, simply signed and sealed by the applicant (notarization or legalization is not required)
Name, address and nationality of the applicant(s) and inventor(s)
Patent Specification in Turkish consisting of description, claims, figures (if any) and abstract (not exceeding 100 words)
If priority claimed date, number and country of priority application
Translation of the priority document into Turkish is NOT required but only cover page of which will be translated.
A simple explanation about how the application’s rights are acquired by the applicant from the inventor/s.

Power of Attorney, simply signed and sealed by the applicant (notarization or legalization is not required)
Full specification of the PCT application with amendments, if any (to be translated into Turkish at our end)
A copy of the Publication of the International Application or the number of the international publication
A copy of the International Search Report
A copy of the Preliminary Examination Report - IPER
Priority document or its translation is not required when filing a PCT national phase application.

Name, address and nationality of the applicant(s) and inventor(s)
Full specification of the Granted European Patent (to be translated into Turkish at our end)
First page (B1) of the publication for Granted European Patent
Power of attorney or the priority document is NOT required.

Name, address and nationality of the applicant(s) and inventor(s)
Claims, abstract and the drawings (if any) of the European Patent (to be translated into Turkish at our end)
First page (A1) of the application of the European Patent
Power of attorney or the priority document is NOT required.
